Welcome to the portal of BRANZINO the Challenge, the most important international seabass fishing competition that takes place by kayak exclusively with artificial lures.
Organized by the Insidefishing Italian Association, thanks to the patronage of the town Council of Orbetello, it has an organizational format that is based on two competition days including seven hours of fishing each one and a double ranking. The first classification awards the individual and the second one awards the best team.
The no-kill vocation of this event that requires the release of the fish, has imposed a system of certification of catches by measuring the length of the seabass and taking a photo of it.
This edition of Branzino the Challenge will take place again in the Orbetello lagoon, that is an amazing location for seabass fishing and a unique environment where the massive presence of this species is guaranteed by a careful reservoir-style management.
Also thanks to the synergy with the prestigious partners of the event, Branzino the Challenge includes high-stakes with a jackpot of more than 20,000 Euros as well as an important payout for the top three winners.
